Perfectly formed subway field tiles, crafted from an imported, mechanically pressed earthenware clay body and glazed by hand in our Nashville, TN tileworks. Built-in lugs assist with tight grout joints for an installation that creates a perfect grid, resulting in a flat, even surface with a slight cushion edge.
To prepare the clay, each piece is coated with a white engobe, creating a pristine canvas before our glazes are applied. Because this engobe is whiter than our natural earthenware clay body, please note that some of our translucent and crackle glazes may appear lighter or more pale than they do on our in-house handmade body.
Each order is hand glazed just for you, offering lovely, artistic color variation. Please reference our color variation levels (V1–V4) to find the perfect watercolor-like movement for your space.

If you need to cancel your order please email us within 12 hours of your purchase. Because we handmake our tile to order we do not accept returns.
Samples are strongly encouraged to ensure your expectations are met. Please note that samples are only a small piece in the overall puzzle that is your installation.
