Hollowbody Picker

Hollowbody Picker — Americana Delft Icon Tile

A quiet nod to the music that shaped American culture.

Our Hollowbody Picker icon tile features a classic hollowbody guitar, hand-painted with cobalt brush strokes on an ivory ceramic tile. The simple silhouette captures the spirit of American acoustic music, from front porch picking to late-night jam sessions. Whether it brings to mind Delta blues, Appalachian bluegrass, Nashville songwriters, or the first chords someone learned at home, the image celebrates the role music plays in everyday life.

Part of our Americana Delft collection, this tile reimagines the historic Delft tradition of illustrating daily life in small painted scenes. Here, the story is told through an instrument that has carried generations of American songs and stories.

Designers often scatter icon tiles like this throughout a backsplash or feature wall, creating a collected and personal installation. Paired with our matching Americana Delft plain field tile, Hollowbody Picker adds a soulful moment within a field of ivory tile.

Handmade Variation

Every Americana Delft tile is individually painted by hand in our Nashville studio. Because each icon is created with a brush and cobalt oxide, natural variations are part of the character of the collection. Brushstrokes may appear slightly lighter or deeper in tone, and small differences in linework or detailing may occur from tile to tile. These subtle variations reflect the hand of the artist and ensure that every installation has the warmth and authenticity of true hand-painted tile.
